History

Church of the Savior of the Miraculous Image in Gireyev

The village (later called the village) Gireyevo has been known since the 16th century. (originally called Gubino, but at the end of the 16th century a new name appeared - Gireyevo) [1] ; it alternately belonged to the Gubins, Sheremetevs and Golitsins .

In 1714-1718, in the estate of Prince Ivan Golitsyn , the brother of the famous boyar Boris Golitsyn , a stone church of the Savior of the Miraculous Image was built. The temple had no reason and was attributed to the neighboring Church of the Nativity of John the Baptist in the village of Ivanovsky .

At the end of the 18th century, the estate belonged to Dmitry Stolypin [2] (1736/1740 - until 1793). He built a manor ensemble with a main wooden house and outbuildings. A house with a four-column portico and one of the outbuildings is preserved, but in poor condition.

From 1805 to 1812, the estate was owned by Marya Perovskaya [2] , after - Anna Ivanovna Zasetskaya [2] . Since 1852, the Torletsky became the owners of the estate (sometimes Terletsky or Tarletsky mistakenly write). The family owned the estate until the October Revolution of 1917 [3] . The owners were: commerce adviser Alexander Loginovich Torletsky (c. 1795 - 1859 ), his wife Irina Fedorovna, the wife of his son Alexander Alexandrovich Elena Grigoryevna Torletskaya (1890), E.V. Torletskaya, from 1911 - Alexander Ivanovich Torletsky.

The Torletsky estate was built in the middle of the 19th century. Currently, you can see a wooden building with columns from the Napolennaya Passage , which runs parallel to Federal Avenue , through the fence of the estate-institution - the main house of the estate, which is in very poor condition. The surname of the owners (distorted) was kept by Terletsky Park with Terletsky Ponds located outside the fence.
