Geographical position
Vershakh is located in the valley of the Enns River at the foot of the Dead Mountains . The highest peak in Hochmölbing commune (2,336 m), it is located 400 meters from the border of Styria and Upper Austria . East of Vershsha there is a peat bog Vorshaher Moos with an area of 2.84 km². This is the largest peat bog in the Enns Valley.
Attractions
Not far from the center of the commune are the medieval ruins of the fortress of Wolkenstein . [1] To the north of the center is the Vershachklamm Gorge.
