Khotlyany ( Belorussian. Khatlyany ) is an agricultural town in the Uzden district of the Minsk region of the Republic of Belarus . It is the administrative center of the Khotlyansky village council . The population is 1,053 people (2011) [2] .

Geography
Khotlyany is located 25 km southeast of the district center, the city of Uzda near the borders with the Pukhovichi and Slutsk regions . 4 km north-west of the agro-town is the intersection of two roads P68 ( Dzerzhinsk - Uzda - Maryina Gorka ) and P23 ( Minsk - Slutsk ). The area belongs to the Dnieper basin, around the village there is a network of reclamation canals with a drain into the river Shat .
History
Hotlyany was first mentioned in the 16th century, when they were part of the Minsk district . At different times, the area was in the possession of the Golovchinsky, Bykhovtsy, Zavis, Grabovsky. Since the XVII century, the settlement is listed as a place [3] .
As a result of the second division of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth (1793), Khotlyany became part of the Russian Empire, in the Shatsky volost of the Igumen district of the Minsk province . According to the census of 1897, there were 145 courtyards, a church, a grocery store, and a tavern [3] .
In 1919, Khotlyany entered the BSSR , where on August 20, 1924 they became the center of the village council of Uzden district. In 2000, the village had 374 yards and 1,166 people [3] .
In March 2010, Khotlyany acquired the status of an agro-town [4] .
Manufacturing
Khotlyany are attached to one of the largest pig-breeding combines of the Republic of Belarus - the agricultural complex "Belaya Rus".
Attractions
- Church of the Intercession (1897) [5] . January 6, 2013 the church completely burned down [6]
- A dome for tactical missiles, which was envisioned as a center for local youth leisure. However, in March 2011 it was demolished.
