Nissan juke

The crossover was created based on the Qazana concept, presented at the Geneva International Motor Show in 2009. The concept was well received by the public and became the prototype of the production car, which was called Juke and took its place in the lineup between the Note minivan and the Qashqai crossover. The debut of the production model took place at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2010.

Restyling

In 2014, the updated Nissan Juke was presented at the Geneva Motor Show. It went on sale in the summer of 2014 ^[2] . Outside, now there are LED headlights in front and a modified “arc” around the logo, while the new equipment standard includes a rear view camera, Keyless Go and Bluetooth.

The atmospheric gasoline engines HR15DE and HR16DE, like the K9K turbocharged diesel engine, were borrowed from other models (they were already used on Note , Tiida , Qashqai , etc.), while the HR16DE engine underwent a small upgrade - it became several horsepower more powerful and a bit more economical. Also introduced is the new, more powerful MR16DDT gasoline engine with turbocharger and direct fuel injection .

Two manual transmissions (five- and six-speed) and two CVTs are available , based on the Nissan Qashqai advanced continuously variable transmission (CVT). The older version, "Xtronic CVT M6", is characterized by the presence of a manual shift mode with simulated fixed gears.

Juke Nismo

At the Paris Motor Show in 2012, the Nissan Juke Nismo was introduced. The car has a 1.6 DiG-T engine, the power of which is increased to 200 liters. from. Juke Nismo also has new suspension and steering settings. The stiffness of the springs on versions with front-wheel drive was increased by 10%, and on all-wheel drive - by 15%.

Juke-R

In 2011, the British engineering firm Ray Mallock Ltd., which manufactures motorsport equipment, and the Nissan European Technical Center (NTC-E) introduced the Juke-R prototype. ^[3]

Juke Nismo RS

Along with the updated Juke at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, a modification of the Juke Nismo RS was also presented. Nismo RS has a modified exhaust system and steering, upgraded springs and shock absorbers, reinforced fasteners for the lower levers of the front struts, more robust braking mechanisms (the front diameter of the discs is increased from 296 to 320 millimeters, and the discs at the rear are ventilated). Due to the excellent electronic control unit and exhaust system, the four-cylinder 1.6 DiG-T turbo engine increased power to 218 liters. from.
