Origin

Nazimov Konstantin was born on March 19 (31), 1838 in the family of Vice Admiral Nikolayev Nikolayevich Nikolayevich (1794-1854). Brothers: Nikolay (1822–1904) - Russian rear admiral, Pacific Ocean researcher, publicist, Pavel (1829–1902) - Admiral, member of the Admiralty Council, from 1894, Alexander (1836–1871) - lieutenant commander.

Since 1855 in the service. Pupil of the IWC, midshipman (05/04/1855).
In 1856 he was awarded a bronze medal.
06.06.1857 Graduated from the Marine Corps with the rank of midshipman .
In 1859-1860 in the overseas voyage on the corvette "Ox".
In 1861–1866 in the round-the-world voyage on the clipper “ Gaydamak ”, the corvettes “Novik” , “Kalevala” and “Bogatyr”. Konstantin Nazimov made the transition to the Pacific Ocean and took part in hydrographic works in the Sea of Japan and studies of the Russian coast of the Pacific Ocean. After he returned to the Baltic.
In 1867–1868 senior officer of the monitor " Battleship ".
In 1869 - appointed commander of the boat "Low Tide".
In 1871, he was awarded the Order of St. Stanislav of the 2nd degree with the Crown.

In 1877 he was awarded the Order of St. Anne of the 2nd degree.
In 1879 he was granted the Order of St. Vladimir of the 4th degree with a bow for 20 annual campaigns, flawlessly conducted in the officer ranks.
In 1881, he was presented with a gift by rank.
In 1882 he was awarded the Japanese Order of the Rising Sun 3rd degree.
In 1883-1884 commanded the frigate " Svetlana ".
In 1884-1890 commanding the frigate "Herzog Edinburgh . "
In 1884 he was awarded the Greek Order of the Savior of the Commander's Cross.

In 1888 he was awarded the Prussian Order of the Red Eagle, 2nd degree.

In 1898, Konstantin Nikolaevich Nazimov retired from service in the rank of Vice-Admiral .

Vitse-Admiral K. N. N. Nazimov tragically died ^[2] in 1905 and was buried in St. Petersburg at the Volkovsky Orthodox cemetery .
