Among its members were also Kara Karabekov , Behbud Khan Javanshir , Geraibek Geraibekov, Mammad Hasan Gadzhinsky , Isabek Ashurbekov and Niftali bey Beibutov [3] [4] . The organization’s leaders also believed that the Russian authorities supported the Armenians in order to provoke conflicts in the Caucasus, in order to oppose the unification of its inhabitants. Therefore, Difai also directed its efforts against a number of Russian officials, organizing their assassination. [2]
To put an end to intercommunal strife, Difai began to maintain contacts with the Dashnaktsutyun and the Ottoman Decentralization League. [2]
After 1909, its activities were suspended, right up to the February Revolution of 1917, when it entered the Executive Committee of Public Organizations of Ganja. [2]
