Military activity
In 1904 - 1905 He participated in the Russo-Japanese War , during which he was awarded the 4th degree St. George Cross for outstanding courage.
In 1914 - 1918 He fought on the Southwestern Front of World War I. For personal valor in the battles he was awarded the St. George Crosses of 3, 2 and 1 degrees. The war ended with the rank of junior non-commissioned officer [3] .
After returning from the front, he took part in the Civil War .
During the military aggression of the expeditionary detachment of the Georgian Mensheviks , led by Valiko Dzhugeli against the rebellious South Ossetian peasants in 1918–1919 , was one of the organizers of the Terek Evacuation Committee for Refugees of South Ossetia [4] , which led its chairman Soso Nartikoev after the murder in 1920 [ 2] .
Post-war activities
After the issuance in 1922 of a decree of the Government of the Mountain Republic on the placement of refugees from South Ossetia at the site of a former training ground near Vladikavkaz , he was one of the executors of this decree and the founder of the new village of Nogir (from Osset. - New Ossetia ) [2] , where his countrymen from Kudar Gorge and other refugees fleeing the threat of genocide . He became the first leader of the Executive Committee with. Nogir .
