Biography
Richard Burgey was born in the vicinity of Montclair in New Jersey. His family was fond of public theater [2] . The elder brother, Chuck Burghi , was a drummer with Billy Joel . After school, Richard traveled to the states and Europe, doing odd jobs [3] .
November 25, 1995 married Lori Kahn. They have two sons - Jack (born 1996) and Samuel (born 2000). In 2012, he married a second time, to Liliana Lopez.
Career
Bergy began his acting career in New York, where he received regular roles in the soap operas One Life to Live, Another World , and How the World Turns . After moving to Los Angeles, he starred in yet another soap opera - Days of Our Lives . Later, he got a small role in the TV series Viper, starred in several episodic roles in various TV shows, and in 1989 he made his debut in the television movie Chameleons. In 1994, he received one of the main roles in the television series "Western Waikiki" [2] .
Bergi played a major role in the series “The Sentinel ” (1996-1999), which was closed after the third season, leaving the plot of the plot unresolved.
