Belgian Football Championship 2005/2006

The Belgian football championship of the 2005/06 season in the first division ( Netherlands. Eerste klasse ) was held from August 5, 2005 to May 5, 2006 . All championship matches for the first time began to be broadcast on a paid digital TV channel , and one match from each round went live on the state channel Sporza . The winner of the championship for the 28th time in its history was the Brussels-based Anderlecht , having won the title in a bitter struggle with the Liège -based Standard and Brugge . The top scorer with 18 goals was Nigerian Tosin Dosunmu from the Germinal Beershot club.
