Content

Club career

Branko began his football career in 1996 at the Mogren club from the city of Budva , which then played in the lower Yugoslav divisions. Having played two and a half seasons for Mogren, Boshkovich moved to Crvena Zvezda in December 1998. For four and a half seasons spent in the Belgrade team, Branko twice became the champion of Yugoslavia (in the 1999/00 and 2000/01 season) and won the Yugoslav Cup three times (in 1999, 2000 and 2002).

In the summer of 2003, Boshkovich transferred to the French Paris Saint-Germain . In total, the player spent three seasons for the Paris club, the latter playing on loan for the Troyes . As part of PSG, Branco won the French Cup in 2004. In January 2007 he moved to the Vienna Rapid , in which he won the Austrian championship in the 2007/08 season and the Austrian Super Cup in 2008. June 15, 2010 signed a contract with the club from MLS “ DC United ” [2] . He made his debut at the new club on July 16 in a match against the Seattle Sounders [3] .

International Career

In the national team of Yugoslavia debuted on March 27, 2002 in a match against Brazil . The first and only goal for the national team scored on June 11, 2003 in the match against Azerbaijan . In total for the national team of Serbia and Montenegro, Boskovic played 12 matches, the last of November 16, 2005 against South Korea . After the independence of Montenegro, Branko began to speak for the new team. He made his national team debut on March 24, 2007 in a friendly match against Hungary . Boschovic scored the first goal for the Montenegrin national team on March 26, 2008 in a match against Norway .
