History and Attractions
The construction of the street was started in the 1870s . The street was part of the so-called seven "numbered" suburban streets. On the city plan of 1888, 2nd Zagorodnaya Street is represented by two-sided building between 1st Uktusky Lane ( Uktuskaya Street ) and Bainaukhovskaya ( Belinsky ) Street. In the 1930s, intensive development began on the southern suburban territory of Yekaterinburg, in connection with which Frunze Street in the middle part merged into Gypsy Square , the space of which in the 1920s was occupied by the tram park of the South Tram Depot [1] .
At the beginning of the XXI century, the Sverdlovsk Instrument Plant, the city police department and multi-storey residential buildings are located on the street [1] .
