History
The name Golutvinskih lanes is known from the XIX century . Here was Golutvinskaya or Golutvina settlement . In the testament of Ivan III (1504) it is said: βAnd I give my son Andrey, in Moscow, beyond the river, the settlement of Kolychevskaya and the monastery of the Nativity, the Most Pure on Golutvin.β The lane is named after the Kolomna Golutvin monastery (the Golutvinsky monastery courtyard was named already in 1472), which apparently was named after the Golutvino tract (Golutva - βclearing in the forestβ - from the word bare, without vegetation).
