Description
Asia ( Yemen ) and Afrotropika (Zambia, DRC Kongo, South Africa). In males, 13-segmented antennae, in females - 12-segmented. A female wasp sneaks into an alien nest and lays eggs on the host larvae that feed their own larvae [1]
Systematics
Generic status established in 2006. The taxon was originally described as a subgenus of the genus Odontotilla . It belongs to the subfamily Myrmillinae . [1] The genus was named by the Croatian hymenterterologist Guido Nonveiller in honor of South African entomologist Arnoldt .
