Pushkina Street (until 1899 - Sobornaya Street , later - Pushkinskaya Street ) is located between Malysheva and Pervomaiskaya streets in the Central residential district of Yekaterinburg ( Leninsky and Kirovsky administrative districts). The length of the street from north to south is 704 m. The street received its modern name in honor of the 100th anniversary of the birth of A. Pushkin [1] .

History and Attractions
In pre-revolutionary Yekaterinburg, on the street were the houses of Florinsky and Yates, a branch of the St. Petersburg pawnshop, the Russia restaurant, the Slavyanskaya hotel, the Siemens and Galske store and shop, the Schwarte hardware and appliances shop, two pharmacies, the representative office of the Universal Electricity Company " . In the house number 27 lived D. N. Mamin-Sibiryak (now it houses the writer's museum ) [1] .
For 2010, the House of Cultural Workers and the 2nd House of the Trade Union, as well as the preserved buildings of the XIX - early XX centuries are on the street. In the former Nurovsky Square , a sculpture of the inventor of radio A.S. Popova (sculptor V.Ye. Egorov) was installed in May 1975. In the northern end of Pushkin Street in 1999 a monument to A. Pushkin was erected (sculptor G. A. Gevorkian, architect MG Matveyev) [1] .
