The club was founded on December 13, 1999 in the city of Jardin . It holds home games at the Estadio Pedro Pedrossian Arena (also known as Morenao), which seats 45,000 spectators. SENE is a three-time winner of the state championship of Mato Grosso do Sul , making it the third most titled state club.
The club is currently performing in Serie D Brazil .
