Biography
He was born on July 11 (24), 1912 in Astrakhan.
In 1938 he graduated from the Baku Choreographic School (teachers V. Ermolaev, G. I. Yazvinsky). He performed on the stage of the Saratov Opera and Ballet Theater (1932), Tashkent Theater. A. Navoi (1933-1935), Azerbaijan Theater named after Akhundova (1935-1938). In 1938-1962 - in the troupe of the Yerevan Opera and Ballet Theater named after A. A. Spendiarov . In 1960-1962 - the teacher-tutor of the theater. Since 1973 - Chief Choreographer of the Yerevan Ballet on Ice.
Wife: Honored Artist of the Armenian SSR, soloist of the Song and Dance Ensemble of Armenia, teacher of the choreographic school, Pavlina Aramovna
