"
Justification of Symbols
The history of the Krasnozorensky region goes back centuries. At the beginning of the XVII century, the settlement of the northern (Moscow) side of the Priososnensky basin began, which was transformed in the 13th century by the invasions of the Mongol-Tatars into a desert, which was overgrown during two centuries of deserted forest with alternating spaces of the “wild field”.
The hero of the Patriotic War of 1812 , the commander of the first partisan detachment, Lieutenant General Denis Vasilyevich Davydov (1784-1839) was born on the ancient land of Krasnozorensk. He was one of the most striking and famous figures of his time.
Currently, the estate of D. Davydov is being revived and a museum-reserve has been created. On June 5, 2002, in the very center of the village of Krasnaya Zarya, a memorial sign was opened to Denis Davydov, a legendary man whose name is associated with names that are dear to the residents of the region: Orlovschina, Krasnaya Zarya, Davydovo.
Krasnozorensky residents became famous not only during the years of struggle with the French invaders, but also during the years of the Great Patriotic War of 1941–45 . For the heroism shown during these years, 8 natives of the Krasnozorensky district were awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union .
The flag of the Krasnozorensky district reveals the historical and natural features of the district. The central figure of the flag - a black eagle holding a silver saber (curved sword) - is borrowed from the coat of arms of the Davydov family, symbolizing the connection of time. The symbolism of the eagle is ambiguous: divinity, courage, faith, victory, greatness, power. The sword raised in the paw of an eagle is a symbol of the expression attributed to Alexander Nevsky "whoever comes to us with a sword will die by the sword." The red color of the banner is a symbol of the heroism of the inhabitants of the Krasnozorensky region, and together with the golden rays of the sun, foreshadowing the dawn (when the sun is not yet visible, but its first rays appear above the horizon) - a vowel symbol of the name of the district.
White strip - symbolizes limestone deposits that are mined in the area industrially and which is actively used in the facing of obelisks, front gardens and houses of the area.
Red color is a symbol of celebration, beauty, activity, courage.
White color ( silver ) is a symbol of purity, perfection, divine wisdom, nobleness, peace.
Yellow color ( gold ) is a symbol of strength, wealth, grandeur, intelligence and insight.
Black color symbolizes prudence, wisdom, modesty, honesty.
