Andrey Stepanovich Kryzhanovsky ( Andriy Kryzh ; January 2, 1936 , Kharkov - November 29, 1989 ) - Ukrainian Soviet prose writer , satirist and humorist , member of the Union of Writers of the USSR. The son of Stepan Kryzhanovsky .

Biography
He was born on January 2, 1936 in Kharkov , as he wrote about himself, "in a simple horseless professorial family."
Later, the family moved to Kiev . He studied at secondary school No. 49, then at Taras Shevchenko Kiev State University at the Faculty of Journalism, which he graduated in 1959. Then he worked on a radio broadcasting abroad. The first book, The Leader of the Opposition, on which he worked for a long time, was published in 1967. The name is shocking at the time , and without the support of a friend, writer and poet Valery Guzhva, publication would not have taken place.
He worked in the magazines "Ranok", " Ukraina ", " Vitchizna ".
He graduated from the Higher Literary Courses at the Literary Institute. A. M. Gorky in Moscow.
He died on November 29, 1989. He was buried in Kiev at the Baykovsky cemetery .
