The administrative center is the village of Staroe Maksimkino .
History
The village of Staroe Maksimkino and the village of Maloye Maksimkino were founded around the middle of the 17th century on the banks of the Bolshoi Cheremshan River.
According to the Kazan State Archive for the Census (revision), in 1858 there were 73 households in the villages of Staroe Maksimkino, and 61 households in Malye Maksimkino . In 1891, in the village of Staroe Maksimkino - 171 households, Maloye Maksimkino - 92 households.
