Equinox is the framework of the Eclipse project application that implements the OSGi R4 specification [2] . In fact, it is a plug -in support system that allows developers to create applications as a group of collections ( English bundle ) using common services and infrastructure. In Eclipse 3.0, Equinox replaced the old plug-in support system used in earlier versions. Thus, OSGi technology provides a service-oriented platform with modularity support for application development.
