In the village there was a manor of Counts Grabowski, from which a barn was preserved - a monument of architecture of the 19th century ^[2] , as well as an old park with a pond and a cedar alley planted by Count Grabovsky ^[3] .

In the village, after an unsuccessful experiment on the reorganization of an agricultural enterprise (2003-2004), the center of which was a village, a number of negative phenomena occurred in the social sphere: - this is how the kindergarten-nursery, the building of which was closed today (August), was first closed 2018) is mothballed and in need of a major overhaul. For some time (immediately after closing and until 2007) the building was used as a hostel; in this connection (in order to maintain social guarantees), the Tolkachevichi secondary school was reorganized into a secondary school kindergarten (2006-212); as a result of the closure of dairy farms and the sale of a pig farm to private entities, there was a massive (more than 2/3 of about 150 people) reduction and dismissal of workers whose activities were directly related to these facilities, which ultimately led to a reduction in the population by more than 50% . As a result of this, the Tolkachevichi secondary school-kindergarten was closed. The school building began to collapse, and the territory became desolate and in order to prevent the complete destruction of this object, the decision of the authorities decided to sell the object to private entities for the amount of 14,000 thousand (140 million non-demonized) rubles. As of August 2018, a furniture factory is located and operates in the building of the former school. Taking into account the mistakes made as a result of the reorganization, the entire territory and facilities were withdrawn from the management of private structures and returned to the state. As a result, much was partially restored and the revival of the village began slowly. So on the territory of Tolkachevichi-1, a street was built with modern cottages and infrastructure, which allowed us to reorganize the village (with a stretch) into an agro-town in which there is a store, post office, consumer services complex, feldsher-midwife station. Unfortunately, it was not possible to save the library and the wonderful club. in the village there is a wonderful park with centuries-old oaks and a lot of ponds in which there are a lot of fish (crucian carp, perch, pike and rattan) The former rural enterprise is attached to the Khotlyany OJSC and is its branch. In this connection, the school, church and bank located on the territory of the village of Khotlyany allowed the village of Tolkachevichi (after combining and building cottages) to obtain the status of an agro-town. The village is great for relaxing blogging along the picturesque nature and the presence of the necessary infrastructure.
