DescriptionNutcrackers are medium-sized or rather large. The body is black and brown, dull. Antennae in males and females are saw-shaped starting from the fourth segment, in males with a double row of standing hairs along the outer edge. The seams of the prothorax are double, straight or slightly curved inward, slightly deepened in front. The posterior process of the prothorax is more or less straight. The femoral tires of the hind coxae narrow outward from about the middle very weakly. All segments of the legs without blades [1] .
EcologyThey live in the forests . Adult beetles can be found on the edges , clearings , clearings . Wireworms - omnivores , develop in the litter [1] .
