Religion

On the steep bank of the river. The gums of the village of Golubei, Dubrovsky district, is an ancient church of the Holy Trinity, updated in the 19th century by Count Olsufyev . There are also Orthodox churches in Dubrovka (Paisiy Velichkovsky), Aleshn (now under reconstruction), Sesche , Ryabchakh , Peklino . In the village of Rekovichi , the remains of the church of St. Nicholas have been preserved.

Holy Springs

  • Near the village of Golubei, where the waters of two streams meet, a font was consecrated in the name of St. Apostles Peter and Paul. Particularly mysterious is the fact that each of the streams begins with six tricks, symbolizing the 12 apostles. On July 12, on the day of remembrance of the glorious and all-important supreme apostles, pilgrims gather from everywhere in the village of Golubeya.
