History
It is believed that the city was founded in the 130s. In Roman times, it was called Adrianee.
After the Turks conquered these places, Emir Dursun was appointed their manager, and in his honor the city was renamed Dursun Bey.
In the years 1920-1922 the area was under the Greek occupation.
