Anzac Bay is a small bay on the Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey .

The bay is only 600 m long, but it became known after the landing of parts of the ANZAK corps here during the Dardanelles operation of the First World War . After landing , Anzac Bay became the main base of the Australian and New Zealand troops for 8 months. On the coast of the bay are cemeteries and war memorials .
