Ivanovo Mechanical Plant

Craft Workshop

The company was founded in 1858 ^[1] and is one of the oldest metal processing enterprises in the Ivanovo region ^[6] .

In fact, at that time it was not a factory yet, but a handicraft workshop that carried out orders from manufacturers of Vladimir and Kostroma provinces . With the development of the textile industry, the workshop expanded.

Mechanical Engineering and Iron Foundry

Since 1874, it became known as the Mechanical Engineering and Iron Foundry of Mr. Smolyakov in the city of Ivanovo-Voznesensk . Shortly before the First World War, the plant mastered the production of some machinery for agriculture .

Iron Foundry No. 2 of the Provincial Authority

Starting in 1918, the company became known as the Iron Foundry and Mechanical Plant No. 2 of the Provincial Authority and its specialization was determined: the production of bolts and small parts for looms. In 1935, the range of products was changed. Now the plant specialized mainly in the production of spare parts for power plants .

Ivanovo Mechanical Plant

In 1936, the company was renamed and became known as the Ivanovo Mechanical Plant . During the Great Patriotic War, the plant produced, in addition to specialized products for power plants, and defense products. In 1951, the company mastered the production of K-51 truck cranes with a lifting capacity of 5 tons on the chassis of the MAZ-200 car ^[7] . In 1953, the plant produces 50 sets of "Bleichert" truck cranes on the ZIS-5 chassis with a lifting capacity of 3 tons ^[8] , ^[9] .

Using the innovations applied by German designers in 1954, the company produces the first domestic diesel-electric truck crane DEK-51 on the chassis of the MAZ-200 car ^[10] .

Since 1957, the company has mastered the production of E-155 pneumatic-wheel excavators with various attachments: with a bucket of 0.15 m³ or a boom in a boom with a lifting capacity from 0.53 to 0.7 tons . D-16 engines with a capacity of 16 hp were installed on the excavators . or D-20 power of 18 hp ^[11] .

In 1957, the company developed and mastered a series of E-156 crawler excavators with various attachments designed to carry out small amounts of earthwork on light and medium soils, in urban and rural construction ^[12] . With the improvement of individual nodes of the DEK-51 truck crane on the same MAZ-200 chassis, it was possible to increase the load capacity to 7.5 tons . The novelty was launched in a series in September 1958 and was called SMK-7 . Until the end of the year, 70 such machines were manufactured. This crane was demonstrated at the Exhibition of Economic Achievements of the USSR and was awarded the Gold Medal ^[8] . Since 1960, the company began to produce drilling machines.

In 1962, the MRK-1 machine was demonstrated at the Exhibition of Economic Achievements of the USSR and was awarded the Gold Medal.

The experimental design bureau of the Ivanovo Mechanical Plant has been developed and since 1970 the plant has begun production of the KST-5 crane model with a lifting capacity of 5 tons on the chassis of a MAZ car ^[13] .

Ivenergomash OJSC

In 1992, the Ivanovo Mechanical Plant was privatized and transformed into Ivenergomash OJSC .

Since 2003, the formation of a new enterprise structure has begun in order to optimize taxation and attract financial resources.

For this, Ivenergomash OJSC and several independent enterprises form the so-called Ivenergomash group of companies, whose common mission is the development of metal processing in the Ivanovo region and achieving leadership in the production of cranes and drilling machines for special purposes ^[14] .

In February 2005, OAO Ivenergomash adapted the safety device and safety device ОНК-140-111М to the KST-5AM1 truck crane ^[15] .

In 2006 at the exhibition "Construction Equipment and Technologies 2006" (CTT-2006, Moscow ) were presented: an MRK-800 drilling machine for drilling pits with a diameter of 500 mm to 800 mm and a KST-7 truck crane on the chassis of a KAMAZ- 53605-15 .

The plant is a partner of Voznesensky FAKB: [1] .

Management and owners

In the Soviet era, the enterprise belonged to the Ministry of Energy and Electrification of the USSR . In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of August 15, 1992 No. 923, the enterprise was included (No. 351) in the "List of associations, enterprises and organizations that are transformed into joint-stock companies whose shares are entered into the authorized capital of the Russian joint-stock company" ^[16] .

• Automotive Special Mounting Cranes:

1. SMK-7 with a lifting capacity of 7.5 tons , on the chassis of the MAZ-500 A and SMK-7M on the chassis of the MAZ- 5334 .
2. SMK-10 with a loading capacity of 10 t , on the chassis of the MAZ-500 A car
3. SMK-101 with a loading capacity of 10 tons , on the MAZ -5334 chassis and SMK-101A on the MAZ -5337-10 car chassis ^[17] .
4. SMK-12A with a loading capacity of 12.5 tons , on the chassis of the MAZ -5337 car ^[18] .
5. SMK-14 with a carrying capacity of 14 tons , on the chassis of the MAZ -5337 car ^[18] .

• Special telescopic cranes:

1. with a loading capacity of 5 t KST-5 on the MAZ-500 chassis and its modification SMK-5AM1 on the MAZ chassis.

• Excavators:

1. Full-rotary pneumatic wheel excavator E-155 with a universal shovel with a bucket with a volume of 0.15 m³ or a boom with a lifting capacity of 0.53 t - 0.7 t ^[11] .
2. Full rotation crawler excavator E-156 ^[12] .

• Drilling machines of the "MRK" type : MRK-750A4 based on the chassis of the Amur-531320 and Ural 4320 vehicles .

Performance Indicators

During the period 2002 - 2003, the Ivenergomash enterprise was in a critical situation, it was under external control. The output amounted to 4 truck cranes in 2002 and 4 truck cranes in 2003 ^[6] . The enterprise is one of the oldest in the Ivanovo region and is included in the system of the engineering complex of RAO UES of Russia ^[6] .

• Mordanov, Evgeny Petrovich worked for more than 40 years at the Ivanovo Mechanical Plant. ^[nineteen]

• The director of the enterprise, Yuri Borisovich Marushkin, is one of the most prominent figures among Ivanovo collectors. He has three directions, each of which is adequately represented in his collection: Mark Malyutin, Vyacheslav Fedorov, Mikhail Ageev, Ivan Nefedov, Alexander Leonov, Rufel Mikhailov - the works of these and other luminaries of the Ivanovo school clearly reflect the era of socialist realism, which the whole collection of Marushkin is dedicated to. In his collection, which is almost 30 years old, there are about 700 paintings and drawings. The collection of varnishes of Marushkin presents 400 storage units and four famous art centers - Kholuy , Palekh , Mstera , Fedoskino ^[20] , as well as porcelain plastic items from Russian and Ukrainian plants, which totals more than 500 storage units ^[21]
