As a child, Kornik moved to Blackpool. He played in the band "John Evan Band" (later "John Evan Smash"). In 1967 he moved with the group to London . Not having much success in the capital, the entire group, except for Glenn Kornik and Ian Anderson, is leaving for Blackpool. The remaining musicians with Mick Abrahams and Clive Bunker create the band β Jethro Tull β.
After recording Benefit, producer Terry Ellis asked Glenin Kornik to leave the band.
