History
Selkirk County - Interlake appeared in 1976 from parts of Portage , Selkirk and South Winnipeg counties. In 1987, it was abolished and divided into Selkirk, Portage - Interlake , Provance and Churchill counties.
Selkirk-Interlake County was again formed in 1996 from parts of Selkirk-Red River , Portage-Interlake , Provincer and Churchill counties.
