1935 - graduated from the zoological department of the Faculty of Biology of Moscow State University named after M. N. Pokrovsky (Department of Animal Physiology).
1936-1946 - worked at the Department of Biological and Analytical Chemistry of the 1st Moscow Medical Institute : graduate student, assistant, associate professor. Teaching biological and analytical chemistry Zbarsky combined with research in biochemistry. In 1942-1944 headed (concurrently) the Department of Natural Sciences of the Tyumen Pedagogical Institute and the Department of General Chemistry of the Kuban Medical Institute in Tyumen.
In the Tyumen period, participated in the preservation of the body of V. I. Lenin, evacuated to Tyumen [2] .
1946-1960 - head of the biochemical laboratory of the P. A. Herzen State Oncological Institute : he was engaged in research in the field of tumor biochemistry and cell biochemistry. He worked (combined in 1934-1952) in the Research Laboratory at the Mausoleum of V.I. Lenin : first as an assistant, and then as a senior researcher.
Since 1956, he worked at the A.N. Severtsov Institute of Animal Morphology of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (since 1967, the N.K. Koltsov Institute of Development Biology, Academy of Sciences of the USSR (RAS)): a senior researcher (1956-1960), head of the biochemistry laboratory ( 1961-1989); Since 1989 - Advisor to the Institute. At the same time, he headed the biochemistry laboratory of the Institute of Medical Radiology of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR in Obninsk , where he conducted research in the field of radiation biochemistry of the cell (1962-1964); as well as the Department of Medical Biochemistry of the Central Institute for Advanced Medical Doctors in Moscow , where he organized courses for the improvement of teachers of biochemistry at medical universities (1964-1967).
Last years he lived in Moscow and worked at the Institute of Development Biology , where he founded the biochemistry laboratory. Released a book of memoirs "Object number 1".
He died on November 9, 2007 . He was buried in the Khovansky cemetery (Northern Territory, plot 236) [3] .
