Biography

Eduard Shemyakov was born in 1975 . After school, he joined the army and served in the border troops in the city of Kuvshinskaya Salma . According to some reports, the army was subjected to bullying by old-timers . Upon returning home to St. Petersburg, he worked as a security guard, was fond of computer equipment. Shemyakov often suffered from headaches. Shemyakov had problems in his personal life, had no contacts with girls. The future serial killer lived with his parents.

After watching the film “The Dawns Here Are Quiet,” Shemyakov did not understand why he decided to kill women. The film , most likely, has absolutely nothing to do with it, but there was a phenomenon called imprinting . Shemyakov committed all his murders on the outskirts of St. Petersburg or outside the city. The youngest of his victims was only 11 years old. In two cases, the attack did not end with the murder. In the first case, a passerby frightened Shemyakova, and in the second he released the victim voluntarily and asked her to tell the police his signs , probably realizing his danger. The maniac was caught after the murder of his sister's girlfriend. Shemyakova's mother found in her own refrigerator half-eaten pieces of human meat. She called the police and upon returning home a maniac was detained by police. Warned by a neighbor about an ambush in his apartment, Shemyakov said that he didn’t care and really went straight into the hands of the police.

Experts found in Shemyakov paranoid schizophrenia (the maniac himself said that “eyes in the water” ordered him to kill people and drown their heads). As a result of this, he was declared insane and sent to compulsory treatment in 2002 . Relatives of the victims repeatedly tried to appeal the court decision, but the maniac is still in a psychiatric clinic .
