Biography
Born on November 7, 1911 in Kokand (now in Uzbekistan ).
On stage - since 1918 . He learned to play the clarinet in a brass band. In 1926 - 1929 - actor of the theater of the party club in Kokand .
He studied at the drama studio at the State Uzbek Drama Theater. Hamza in Tashkent ( 1929 ).
From 1929 until his death, he was an actor of the State Uzbek Drama Theater named after Khamza (since 2001 - the Uzbek National Academic Drama Theater ) ( Samarkand , since 1931 - in Tashkent ).
War veteran . In 1941 , he was attracted to a military school . From 1942 to 1943 - as part of the front-line brigades of artists of Uzbekistan.
In the cinema - since 1943 . He participated in dubbing over a hundred films.
On stage and in cinema, Nabi Rakhimov demonstrated the versatile talent of both a comedian and a tragedy. Member of the Union of Cinematographers of the Uzbek SSR.
In 1946 - 1961 - teacher of the Tashkent State Institute of Theater Arts named after A.N. Ostrovsky (now the State Institute of Arts of Uzbekistan ).
Nabi Rakhimov is one of the organizers and a regular participant in the Sunday morning broadcast of “Tabassum” (“Smile”) on the Uzbek radio.
Member of the CPSU since 1945 .
He died on November 23, 1994 in Tashkent. He was buried in the Chigatai cemetery [1] .
