Zdravomyslov, Andrey Grigorevich

In 1953 he graduated from the Leningrad State University with a degree in Philosophy.

In 1960 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of philosophical sciences on the topic “The Problem of Interest in Sociological Theory” (scientific adviser L. O. Reznikov ). In the same year, he became deputy head of the laboratory of sociological research at Leningrad State University (head V. Yadov ) and one of the leaders and co-authors of the project “Man and His Work”.

In 1967 - 1969 - Head of the Department of Marxist-Leninist Philosophy of the Leningrad Higher Party School and the head of the laboratory of sociological analysis of party work in the LHFSH.

In 1968 - 1974 - head of the sector of methodology and technology of sociological research of the USSR Academy of Sciences ^{[ clarify ]} .

In 1969 he defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy on the topic "Theoretical and methodological problems of studying social interests."

From 1974 to 1991, he was a senior researcher at the Institute of Marxism-Leninism under the Central Committee of the CPSU ; in 1991, he was head of the party sociology sector at the Institute of Theory and History of Socialism. From 1991 to 2003 - Director of the Center for Sociological Analysis of Conflicts of the Russian Independent Institute for Social and National Problems.

In 1992-2002 - President of the Professional Sociological Association, transformed into the Community of professional sociologists.

Since 2003 - Chief Researcher of the RNISP, and then of the Institute of Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences .

Honorary Doctor of the Institute of Sociology, Russian Academy of Sciences, Life Member, International Sociological Association .

Author of about 300 scientific publications.
