Biography

Elvira Kronberg was born on January 18, 1910 in Ventspils, in the family of carpenter Ansis Kronbergis.

She graduated from the Leningrad Latvian working school (1928). After studying in the actor's studio (1932) - actress of the Leningrad Latvian Theater (1932-1934). She worked in the Cheboksary Russian Drama Theater (1934-1945), the State Art Theater of the Latvian SSR (1945). Since 1946, the actress of the State Theater of the Young Spectator of the Latvian SSR .

She was married to actor and director Boris Praudin.

She died on January 5, 1978 . She was buried in the Rainis cemetery in Riga.
