Norrlands Guld is a Swedish brand of Dortmund type beer . Spendrups brewing company owns the brand.
Beer was introduced in 1965 by the Sollefteo brewery under the brand name Norrlands Öl (Northern beer). It got its current name in 1976 at the Worbu Brewery, which acquired the Sollefteo Brewery. In 1989, the Vorbi brewery was bought by the Spendrups brewery, which has managed the brand to this day.
At the beginning of the 1990s, beer of medium strength under the brand name Norrlands Silver ( Silver of the North) was present on the market. In 1995, an unsuccessful attempt was made to market high-strength beer called Norrlands Dynamite (North Dynamite ). However, the Alcohol Inspectorate protested the attempt, finding the name inappropriate.
In 2005, the so-called non-alcoholic version of beer with an alcohol content of 0.5%. Available even to minors, as it is considered non-alcoholic.

Norrlands Guld became known thanks to an advertising campaign, the theme of which is "become yourself at least for a minute"
Label
The motif of the label is a mirror image of the endless Norrland . Upstairs is the coat of arms of Ongermanland (3 salmon ). Recently, there is a temperature indicator. A white elk that turns blue when the beer cools to the desired temperature.
