Group History
Blind Stare was formed in 1999 and initially worked in the genre of instrumental metal, but later, with the advent of vocalist Eino Tuominen, she changed her style and began playing melodic death metal . For a long time, the line-ups of the group constantly changed, which did not allow its members to release full records. In 2002 - 2004, Blind Stare still began to actively record and released several demo discs. Their first studio album , Symphony of Delusions , was released on Arise Records in 2005 and sold quite successfully, which attracted the attention of the team. However, soon the Blind Stare were left without a contract, and a difficult period again began for the group. Despite several lineup changes and a lack of a label deal , Blind Stare is currently working on their second studio album.
Style and influence
Blind Stare consider themselves a death metal band, however, their work also contains elements of other metal styles [1] . The group combines a heavy guitar sound using a synthesizer and various samples , and the vocals are simultaneously presented by growling , screaming and choral inserts, which distinguishes Blind Stare from a number of other death metal groups [2] .
Musical critics point to the similarity of Blind Stare music with the work of groups such as Children of Bodom and Soilwork , but at the same time they see some influence of Eldritch and even Depeche Mode in their compositions [2] .
