The village is located on the left bank of the river Sura .

Yazykovo is a village in the Pilna area in which the Pantusovs' manor was located. The complex includes a park. According to local historian Vladimir Bakunin, a new temple was built in Yazykova in the early to mid-2000s in honor of the Transfiguration of the Lord, which successfully fit into the landscape of Sura.
