History
In 1850, at the expense of the Cambrian factory owners of the Demidovs , instead of the burned-out church of the Nativity of Christ , a wooden church was built with a single altar , consecrated in honor of the Dormition of the Mother of God . In 1863, the parish included the Kambarsky plant , the village of Tarasovo, and the repairs to Balaka .
By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic of February 13, 1941, the church was closed, the building was transferred to a cultural institution. In the 1990s, the temple was returned to believers.
