Dry Kill Logic (ex. Hinge ) is an American metal band formed in 1995 in Westchester County , in the state of New York . The first demo of the band was released by Psychodrama Records (own label Dry Kill Logic) in 1997.

The original members of the group included: vocalist Cliff Rigano, guitarist Scott Thomson, bassist Dave Kovacs and drummer Phil Argery.
Two years later, since their inception, Dry Kill Logic released their first release, the mini-album Cause Moshing Is Good Fun, on their own label Psychodrama Records. In July 1998, the quartet was sent back to the studio, where they began to record the second EP, entitled Elemental Evil.
After its release in 1998, the musicians begin active concert activities in support of it, sharing the stage with the Coal Chamber , Incubus , System Of A Down , Anthrax and The Misfits .
In June 2001, Dry Kill Logic released their first full-length release of The Darker Side Of Nonsense on the famous American label Roadrunner Records .
Three years later, which the musicians spent on numerous performances at various festivals and writing new material, Dry Kill Logic changed the label on TSPV Records and released the new longplay The Dead And Dreaming , shortly after its release the band parted with its former guitarist, who was taken by Kaisy Mahouni , formerly in the New York group Downpore.
In 2006, the band released their third and last studio album to date, entitled Of Vengeance And Violence, on Psychodrama / Repossession Records. In support of the album, tours began in Australia and Europe, the group also planned to perform in the United States, Canada and Japan, but due to problems with the label, the tour was suspended in January 2007.
Since the end of the 2000s, Dry Kill Logic ceases to be active and goes on indefinite leave.

Musical style and influences
Dry Kill Logic style is described as nu-metal (first album) and metalcore (later creative). Team members noted the influence of such groups as: Pantera , Sepultura , Fear Factory , Slipknot and Machine Head . Vocalist Cliff Rigano mentioned Phil Anselmo , James Hetfield and Alice Cooper as musicians who influenced his work, and drummer Phil Arcury called the game Vinnie Paul his main source of inspiration.
