History
The village of Novaya Aleksandrovka appeared in 1882 , when Alexander the Third took measures to mitigate the low-land peasants. A Peasant Bank was established, which provided cheap loans for the purchase of land by peasants. 300 families have moved from Ukraine from under the city of Kamenetz-Podolsk to the Bugulma district. They settled in the villages of Mikulino, Klyuchi, Bayryakino, Argunovka. The village, in which 100 families settled, was north of modern.
The immigrants came from the village of Aleksandrovka, in memory of her they called their new village Novaya Aleksandrovka. A kilometer from the village of Novaya Aleksandrovka, on the banks of the Zai River, is the village of Staraya Kazanka. This village was founded by Catherine II at the end of the 18th century, having expelled Russian peasants from near Kazan to the free royal lands. This version brings some clarity to the etymology of the village: since from Kazan, it means Kazanka, and the rivulet that flows through the village and flows into the Zai is called Kazanka.
