Geographical position
The village of Malye Bubny is located on the right bank of the Olava River, the village of Batsmani is located upstream at a distance of 2 km, the village of Yarmolintsy is located downstream at a distance of 2.5 km, and the village of Krapivintsy is on the opposite bank. A drying creek with a dam flows through the village. Nearby is the highway N-07 . Around the village there are many gas and oil wells.
History
- The village of Maly Bubny has been known since the end of the 16th century .
Between the Great and Small Tambourines there was a menagerie, with settlements for princely hunters, who during the hunt in the woods beat tambourines (buboes), driving the animals out at the raids, which, apparently, gave the name to these villages [2] .
