Story
The film takes place in a stormy 1988, when the whole country is on the verge of change. The scene is a small quiet street on the outskirts of Riga, in Imanta . The people in question live their separate lives, so familiar to the author of the film’s script, who has spent his childhood on this street.
Among the heroes of this film novel, we see a taxi driver, a young mother, a disabled person, a preacher, and their neighbors. In the controversial drama of these seemingly ordinary people, one can see a symbolic cast of the fate of an entire nation.
