Guaviare ( Spanish: Río Guaviare ) - a river in Colombia and Venezuela , the left tributary of the Orinoco River. Formed by the merger of Aryari and Guayabero .

Guavier River Basin
The river is 1,497 kilometers long; its basin covers an area of 140,000 km². The average volume of flowing water is about 8,200 m³ / s. It has a number of tributaries, the main of which is the Inirida River. Navigable 630 km (391 miles) of its total length.
The Guanyar basin includes the Caño Cristales River .
