Virgin Islands National Park is a US national park in the US Virgin Islands , located in the central part of St. John's Island. Created - August 2, 1956 . Area - 59 km².

Description
The National Park occupies 60% of St. John's Island and several isolated sites on St. Thomas Island. The park is famous for snorkeling and its one-mile walking trail through the rainforest . On average, 725 thousand tourists visit the park annually, this is due to the presence of a stop on the island - Cruise Bay ferry from Red Hook to Charlotte Amalie . One of the park's most famous attractions is Trunk Bay , with white sandy beaches and an underwater trail.
