In Poland there is a separation of powers [3] . Executive power is represented by the president , who is the head of state, and the Council of Ministers, legislative - by the Parliament - the Sejm (lower house) and the Senate (upper house) [3] , and the judiciary - by the courts and tribunals headed by the Supreme Court [4] .
