Belezma is one of Algeria 's most important national parks . It is located in the province of Batna in the north of the country. It was created in 1984 and covers an area of 262.5 km² . The climate changes from humid cold to dry semi-desert, it contains 447 species of flora (14% of all species of the country) and 309 species of fauna, of which 59 are endangered .
