“ Don't Look Back in Anger ” is the song of the English rock band Oasis , released in 1996 as the fourth single from the band 's second album (What's the Story) Morning Glory? . The song was written by the group’s guitarist and main songwriter, Noel Gallagher. The song became the band's second single, which reached No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart, where it also went platinum. “Don't Look Back in Anger” was also the first Oasis single, where the lead singer is Noel and not his brother, Liam Gallagher.
