Radosav Petrovich ( Serb. Radosav Petrovi ; March 8, 1989, Ub , SFRY ) better known as Rodion (Serb. Raћa) - Serbian football player, midfielder of the Sporting club (Lisbon). He played for the national team of Serbia .

Club career

June 20, 2008 Radosav Petrovich moved to Belgrade “ Partizan ” from the club “ Radnichki ” (Obrenovac). Petrovich signed a contract with Partizan for five years and received at club number 20.

Petrovich held his first official match for Partizan on August 6, 2008 in the second qualifying round of the Champions League against Inter from Baku. On May 21, 2009 Petrovich scored for Partizan the first goal in the final match of the Serbia Cup against Sevoyno , securing a victory for his club 3-0. In June 2009, Petrovich took himself the 8th number, due to the departure of the team in the “ Deportivo La A Coruña ” that had previously carried it to the Beetles .

In the summer of 2010, interest in Petrovich showed “ Valencia ” and “ Sporting ” from Lisbon [2] .

On June 30, 2011, Vitess announced on its official website that Petrovich would transfer to the Dutch club [3] . On the same day, "Partizan" confirmed this information [4] . A few days later, a message appeared that the parties did not reach an agreement to sign the contract due to disagreements in the amount of compensation to the player’s agent [5] .

On August 9, 2011 Petrovich received permission to work in England and signed a contract with Blackburn Rovers for a period of 4 years [6] . In the summer of 2012, after Blackburn left the Premier League, Petrovich moved to the Turkish Genclerbirligi club [7] .

On May 26, 2015, Radosava’s transfer to Dynamo Kyiv as a free agent was announced, the contract is designed for 5 years [8] .

Team Career

On October 11, 2008 Radosav Petrovich made his debut for the Serbian youth team in the qualifying tournament for the European Championship among youth teams against the Danish national team . For the main national team of Serbia, Petrovich made his debut on August 12, 2009 in a friendly match with the national team of South Africa .

Petrovich was included by Radomir Antic in the Serbian national team for the 2010 World Cup [9] . In the tournament, Petrovich played in a winning match against the German national team (1-0), replacing a substitute in the 75th minute of the match. The Serbs won one victory in the group round and flew out of the tournament.

The first goal for the Serbian national team Radosav Petrovich scored on June 3, 2011 in a friendly match against the national team of South Korea .
