He studied at the Central Special Music School at the Ufa State Institute of Arts (1989-1999).

He is the owner of the Silver Medal of the I All-Russian Youth Delphic Games (Saratov, 1999).

The first performer in Bashkiria who gave a solo concert on percussion instruments (marimba, xylophone, drum set, etc., 2000).

He received higher education at the St. Petersburg Humanitarian University of Trade Unions with a degree in sound engineering (2008).

Since 2005 lives in Moscow.

In 2006, together with vocalist and poet Roman Sologub, he created the group “Romeo must die” (2006-2014). The group has released two albums with the same name “Romeo must die” (2007, 2009) and three clips on the composition “Headlight (2008),“ Silver ”(2011) and“ Mannequin ”(2013).

In 2007, he created the band “HAUA” (music composer, performer - Marat Faizullin, kurai - Robert Yuldashev, producer Pavel Shatrov). In the same year the first album of the group under the same name “HAUA” was released. The musical style is a combination of electronic sound of chill-music and traditional performance on the Bashkir folk instrument kurae. Album publisher and distributor - Solaris records (DE). The album was presented at the MIDEM International Music Forum (Cannes, France, 2008). Separate tracks are periodically published as collections of Buddha lounge, Buddha essential, Chill In Paradise, etc.

In 2008 he created his own music studio “CINEMUSIC”, successfully working in the field of film and television.

In 2009 he became a member of the creative team of the Marine Arctic Complex Expedition (MAKE) under the direction of Peter Boyarsky. On the research vessel “Mikhail Somov” the expedition sailed the Karsky and Barents Seas to Vaigach Island, the Novaya Zemlya Archipelago and Franz Josef Land. For the first time in history, a series of Landscapes of the Arctic was written on board the ship for a symphony orchestra and reader. The feature film “My name is Arctic” (directed by V. Pasichnik), in which Marat Fayzullin played the main male role, was shot on the ship. Marat Faizullin also wrote music for this film. The theme of the soundtrack for the film was invented in the mess-room of an abandoned polar station located on one of the islands of Franz Josef Land, and many sounds were recorded directly from nature: the sound of the sea and the atmosphere of the air of the northern seas, the sound of ice on board the ship, the cry of gulls, etc. .

In 2009, Marat Fayzullin wrote the music and recorded the album "Pomeranian Flirt" together with the famous writer and TV host Natalia Kulagina based on the Pomeranian folk tales. The album is the author's text in combination with the experimental sound of electronics.

In 2009, Marat Fayzullin participated in the international project of the film company “WAYFILM” - wrote the music for the film “The Way” (director V. Pasichnik).

In 2010 he became the laureate of the International Competition of Composers "Dedication to Tchaikovsky" (Tchaikovsky).

In 2011 he wrote the music for the film “The Real Fairy Tale” (director A. Marmontov) with starring Sergey Bezrukov and Anna Friske. Music was recorded by the Moscow Novaya Opera orchestra (conducted by Dmitry Volosnikov) at the Mosfilm Cinema Concern studio.

In 2013, he participated in the 66th Cannes Film Festival as part of the Karakuk Production Judge (the short feature film The Last Report, directed by T. Abdullin).

In 2014, the second album of the group “HAUA” was recorded. The album was called “HAUA DARIA”. The list of participants has changed: Marat Faizullin-Kurai, electronics, Tatyana Kolmykova (Matchmaker, SWA) - vocal, Basem Al-Ashkar (Palestine) - beats.

In 2015, he participated in the creation of the documentary film “Atlantis of the Russian North” (directed by S. Gorlenko) as a composer, sound producer and co-producer. The film aroused great audience interest and was held in the box office in more than 40 cities of Russia. In 2016, the film won the main prize in the nomination "The best music for the film" at the II International Film Festival. Savva Morozova, Moscow.

On November 1, 2015, he presented the documentary film “Combat Brotherhood” (director I. Galeev) at the TCL Theater ( Hollywood, Los Angeles, USA ).

In April 2016, he presented the animated film “Benches No. 0458” (director I. Maksimov) at the XXVIII International Short Film Festival “FILMFEST DRESDEN” (Dresden, Germany).

In 2016, the animated film “Why a Banana Snaps” (directed by S. Razgulyaev) with the music of Marat Faizullin was nominated for the National Cinema Award “ Nika ”.

He is the owner and director of the music publishing house AERARECORDS (2015, Moscow). In a short time, several successful projects were launched, such as “The Time of Fogs” (Magnitogorsk), “Marinade” (Kostroma), and the “Third-Party Observer” (Ufa).

In 2016, the HAUA group was nominated for the Russian Word Music Awards .
