listen ) is one of 32 London boroughs in Great Britain as part of Outer London , with local municipal government, including the south-east suburbs of London - Bexley , Crayford , Irit and partly Sidkap . As of 2011, 232,800 people lived.

History
Most of the settlements in the territory of Bexley appeared during the XIX century. Separate villages are known from the Doomsday Book , and Bexley Village has had its own charter since 814 .
The London borough of Bexley was formed in 1965 by the merger of the regions of Bexley , Crayford , Irit and partly of the Sidcap region [3]
Population
According to the 2011 census, 232,800 people lived in Beauxley Borough. Of these, 20.5% were children (up to 15 years old), 61.0% of people of working age (from 16 to 64 years old) and 18.5% of elderly people (65 years old and above) [2] .
Ethnic composition
The main ethnic groups according to the 2007 census [4] :
88.0% are white , including 84.0% are white British , 1.3% are white Irish and 2.7% are other white ( Greeks , Jews );
4.9% - Black , including 3.6% - Black Africans ( Nigerians , Ghanaians ), 1.0% - Black Caribs ( Jamaican ) and 0.3% - other black ones;
3.3% came from South Asia , including 2.6% from the Indians , 0.4% from the Bengalis and 0.3% from the Pakistanis ;
1.8% - half - breeds , including 0.5% - black Caribs mixed with white, 0.5% - Asians mixed with white, 0.3% - Black Africans mixed with white and 0.5% - other mestizo;
0.8% are Chinese ;
0.6% - other Asians ( Vietnamese );
0.6% are others.
