The International Code of Botanical Nomenclature (IBC) recommends in publications on botanical topics, especially if they relate to taxonomy and nomenclature, indicate the authors of the names of taxa . An indication of the authors of the names of taxa should be carried out in accordance with the rules and advice given in the IBC. In particular, the IBC recommends using the Brammitt and Powell Authors of plant names [~ 1] published in 1992 when quoting taxon authors with refinements and additions corresponding to the data from the International Plant Names Index and Index Fungorum databases [~ 2] .

The notation list contains
  • standard designation form,
  • name in Russian (if known),
  • name in the native language of the person (or in English),
  • year of birth or years of life; in some cases, the year of the first publication is given (mark fl. ) in which this designation is used.
